This is slightly longer than the Kidkraft or Melissa and Doug kitchens which provides more storage and play surface. Very well constructed. People that have seen it always give good praise on the looks. My son loves it! Has lots of doors (he likes to open and close doors, and Mommy loves them because they can hide things). The assembly took about 2.5 hrs., the most time consuming part, according to my husband, was the last few steps, but instructions were clear. Highly recommend it especially if you have a boy because I haven't found too many good looking kitchens that are not pink!
