(More customer reviews)We have had this set for years now, having been played with three children over the space of 7 years. The food items are of a realistic size. The lettuce really looks like lettuce and the cheese is so real, I have accidentally scolded my kids for leaving cheese on the floor. :)
As the other reviewer said, be sure to sanitize - I use cleaning wipes rather than soak them in water since some items (like the "milk" in a cup) have a small hole where water could get trapped inside.
I would gladly buy this again, it's a really durable and fun set. My kids still enjoy playing with it. Thank goodness for toys like this that don't need batteries!!
