(More customer reviews)I am not being dramatic, this thing can cut your child all too easily. The pieces all come out of a molded form and you're responsible for taking them apart. Most pieces have 2 or more connection points, so 2 or more changes of sharp edges. When you cut, snip, or twist them off they leave a sharp edge, and many times that sharp edge also sticks out (making it easier for your little one to scrape herself.) I used my Dremel sanding tool and sanded down all the sharp points. I did not expect A+ quality for the price, but I also did not expect to do so much assembly. The cart wasn't hard to assemble, but the way it is made makes it easy to cut yourself when you're twisting in the screws if you use a standard length screwdriver. I had to hold the screwdriver at an angle to avoid that - which made it more difficult, of course.
My 4 year old daughter LOVES this, though. She picked it out herself. Little kids are not as picky as we adults... She doesn't care that the wheels slide across the floor more than they actually roll. She's just happy to have a tea set. The cutlery is a nice addition not seen in all tea sets. My daughter has been playing with this for the 3+ hours (nonstop) since I assembled it. If you ask her, she would give this 5 stars.
