(More customer reviews)I chose this one over another laundry unit for my daughter for Christmas. It's okay but really could of been more inventive. I wish I could find a matching washer for it, but of course they don't make one. I will update this after my daughter plays with it, even though she knows she is getting it since thanks to amazon, they didn't put up notice that this item DOES ship in original carton so today my daughter said to me...I got a box from the 'PS guy' and its a washer...or maybe its a dryer? Its purple! There goes a surprise ruined.
EDITED TO ADD: Well Christmas has come & gone for about a week. This was one of the first things we put together because she LOVES to do pretend play stuff like play house, etc & couldn't wait to wash clothes. She has only played with this about 3 times. The arm that holds the ironing board up while in use keeps popping off when we fold it down for storage. The door closes with a very hard push so it knocks anything on the ironing board or on top of the unit off when she has to open or close the door. There were black marks all over the pieces, I'm assuming from production. The iron didn't fit together very well and took the longest to get together!
All in all, I am taking back my original ratings of 4 for fun, 3 for educational, 3 for durable & 3 for overall. I wish I could give it zero zero zero zero! I fully anticipate this to go in the trash happily once I find a good replacement.
