(More customer reviews)A lot of the images of these chairs show them standing upright, with a child or adult comfortably leaning into them. I've just received two junior Fatboys ordered online, and I can tell you there is no way you can position this so it sits solidly upright, such that a child can lean into it. Unless you place it against a wall, but that's not how it's shown anywhere on the promotional pictures. You'll notice none of them show the chair in profile with a person sitting in it, because that would give the game away.
Another negative is that after 12-18 months of usage you need to refill the chairs as the beads inside settle. The filling costs $50 for a half bag, and $100 for a full size. Do you really want to be making that kind of regular investment in a beanbag that was expensive to begin with?
My children are two and three years old, so it's not like they're too big for the junior chair.
We're now stuck with two oversize pillows on the ground. These are not chairs.

Fun and comfy, a quality bean bag makes a great addition to a child’s bedroom. Fatboy offers this junior-sized model of their revolutionary The Original Bean Bag for younger loungers, suitable for newborns and older. At over 4 feet long, the bean bag is the perfect place for a kid to sprawl out with picture book, or to sink into for a mid-afternoon nap. The large size and the flexible body of the bean bag accommodate the rapid growth of a child, unlike most children’s chairs. For a soft, supportive cushion, virgin expanded polystyrene beads fill the bean bag. The durable nylon cover benefits from a protective coating that resists stains and water from inevitable spills. To care for the bean bag, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. The junior bean bag comes in a wide assortment of bright, fun colors. The bean bag measures 50 inches long by 40 inches wide by 8 inches high.
