It was more of a novelty gift, but after making vanilla and chocolate ice cream in this little machine, we are really happy with the quality of ice cream and have been using it almost daily!
It's an easy machine to use, the only drawback for kids would be having to wait 4-5 hours for the ice cream. This is actually great for adults who like 2-3 servings of freshly made ice cream based on simple recipes.
