(More customer reviews)This is a great game for families because it's fun for a wide range of ages. It's easy enough for young children to play but not the type of game older kids can "beat". The object is for the players to collect all the fruit (cute wooden pieces that fit into real baskets) from the trees before the Raven does. Players roll a dice and pick fruit from correspnding trees. But if you roll a Raven, you must add a piece to the Raven puzzle...and if you complete the puzzle before you've picked all the fruit, the Raven wins. We like to add funny sound effects for different rolls of the dice. The game takes up a decent amount of time without being too long. And it's great because there's no fighting between players as they aren't competing against one another. It's still challenging - you ARE trying to win, of course, but the "you" is your whole family. A classic game almost any child can play and enjoy.
