(More customer reviews)I was attracted to this Globe the minute I saw it. It is unique in its dramatic, free turning construction. It comes in the usual colors of the blue, multi colored continents and in Silver. Since I was looking for something a little more elegant, I chose the Silver version. Our church is giving it as a Retirement Gift to our Pastor who has served her Lord and congregation so richly, worldwide.
I do wish and did think that the globe was crystal from the title, Crystal Marquis Globe. It turned out to be Acrylic......Still it is attractive and less fragile. Crystal, would have made a much more impressive statement....with a much higher price tag too!
I do believe this will be a very appreciated, striking gift.
