The colorful circles spin as the clown is pulled and they can also be removed so the kids can chew them or roll them around. Besides being a beautiful toy that will grow with our children, it is exceptionally well made. The paint doesnt come off, the pieces are well joined and the pull string is thick and sturdy. my girls are 10 months and they already know how to pull it while crawling (of course the string is tied shorter for safety) I have other HABA toys and they are simply a wonderful toy company!
