(More customer reviews)we anticipated this to be larger, since we had another (cheaper) brand of wooden food which had much larger pieces. That stuff turned out to have lead in it, and we got new food. This stuff is alot smaller but alot more natural looking and open-ended. we're waldorf-inspired so we look for things like this.
it's a little smaller than I had imagined but it's fine because it's a 2yo that's playing with it!
