The wall was already cleaned because I had recently used other wall stickers, so there was very little prep work that had to be done aside from a quick rub down with a damp cloth. After it dried, I applied the stickers. It was great that they don't stick until you rub firmly with a cloth so that I could re-arrange them as necessary to get a good overall theme/image. After rubbing with a cloth, I had no issues with them peeling. They have been on the wall for just over three months now with no signs of peeling.
I give them four stars only because I haven't tried to remove them yet. I don't plan to until my son outgrows the theme and/or we move.
