(More customer reviews)My 16 month old fell in love with trains after staying in a vacation hotel near a train yard. I thought this would be a great holiday toy for him, especially since we're ring to avoid bringing any more plastic toys into our home. I'm not sure if the train counts as a success. He likes watching Mommy & Daddy roll it around him, but quickly loses interest when he rolls it himself. I think this is probably because the cars are held together by magnets and fall apart pretty easily. Pushing a train with 4 cars is fun, but not so much fun if you have only one car within 15 seconds.
The train is very well made though there are some small parts as other reviewers have indicated. I am very happy with the quality and durability of this toy. Perhaps my son needs to grow into it a bit more and learn to be more gentle in pushing it. In the meantime, it makes a bright and cheerful addition to his nursery.
