Many of the wood condiment sets I found were European, which meant that the text on them was in another language (ex. German), This set is in an easy to read font in English, so my daughter can learn to recognize the words she sees at the store.
A couple of minor caveats...
The lids are not removable (many of the sets have removable lids). Not a big deal, this is actually good for small children who may find this as a choking hazard. But if you would like a set that has hollow containers with removable lids, this set is solid.
The straw is removable in the juice box. There is a hole in the top of the juice box and there is a small wood dowel which fits in the hole as the straw. This was disappointing because I know that, inevitably, this will go missing.
Also, the photo is slightly misleading in respect to scale of product. The eggs are actually quite large (again, I am sure this is to prevent a choking hazard). The eggs are the size of real eggs (perhaps a bit larger) and the same size as the yogurt and jam containers. Larger than the wheel of cheese.
