(More customer reviews)We started using it when she was 12 mon. And she did great from day one. I never left her alone when she was that little but there is no way this would tip over and she loves being a part of life (plus I was so tired of her emptying cabinets). She is now 16 months and walks over to it and says up please. We put a white beach towl (folded in quarters) under it and slide it around the kitchen. It's heavy enough it's still 100% stable. Also it's her "table" when she is not standing on it. We don't let her walk with sippy cups but she can put it on her tower and walk back to it latter (we wipe it down night and nap -keeping it clean is tough, she seems messy these days)! The floor of the step is like her counter height now and it's nice to have that height "shelf" or "table" right there. I put stuff on it for her to play with often. It is the best thing we have ever bought for her! Truely makes her part of us not a floor seeker! I love love love it!!! 100% stable, well made, really easy to set up and truly makes me a better mom, more talking and teaching and less "close that door"!!!
