(More customer reviews)I bought this cookware set for my 3 year old for Christmas. I bought this set because of the diversity of the items offered and the price seemed reasonable. My intention was for my daughter to use this with her toy stove/oven. We bought several of the Melissa & Doug wooden food sets thinking she could use them with the cookware.
This cookware is unreasonably small. She can not fit any of her food into the pots and pans. Although the quality of most of the items were reasonable, the utensils are very flimsy (all but 2 of ours are already broken and we've had the cookware less than 2 months).
Since my daughter can not fit her play food in this cookware she rarely uses it. I ended up buying a set with fewer pieces (one pot, one pan, and 3 utensils) from Pottery Barn. The pieces were sized so that she could use it with her wooden food and the quality was excellent (although it was a bit pricey).
All told I would not recommend this product if you want your child to be able to put food into the pots and pans for 'cooking'.
