(More customer reviews)I am writing this because I saw the one star that was given (I am looking for another for my daughter) and felt that I should mention how much we love this toy chest. My son received this as a gift for his birthday. It's beautifully made, has held up well to a two-year-old smashing toys in and out of it, and a perfect size. Putiing it together was, for my husband, a relatively easy adventure. I can't say that I would have found it as simple. The safety lever works well and we appreciate the anti-finger-pinching space. Terrific all around. My only complaint is that some of the paint is chipping, but the complaint is not with the manufacturer, but rather my son banging his toys on it. We also have the matching table and chairs - just as well-made. Oh, we've had it for about a year and a half now.
