(More customer reviews)I sewed the pom poms together, then glued the mouth. I had to make a sort of jig with pins and styrofoam to hold it while the glue dried (I used Aleene's Okay to Wash). I also glued in the fins.
It turned out to be a nice toy; my son and I had fun making it.
The reason for 3 stars is that the directions are AWFUL. We made it from the photo.
