(More customer reviews)I love that Erzi has a fine selection of rather unusual vegetables. My kids have a couple of books they enjoy with turnips, and they're such an unusual play food to come across, so I decided we had to have them (this and the purple one, also by Erzi).
This turnip is a really reasonable size, although the listed diameter of 3.5 inches is actually the measurement of the entire turnip - greens and all. The true diameter of this piece is about 2". I don't believe this is even a possible choking hazard.
Its greenery on top is a course rope-like material that seems to be made of natural fiber of some sort. Very attractive, realistic and well-made. Erzi's veggies are something you can't go wrong with.
By the way, all Erzi foods are made in Germany.
