We bought these to use as "example" eggs in our chicken coop nesting boxes. While I can't guarantee it was the eggs that did it, our chickens were soon laying in the right place and not on the floor of the coop. My five year old has found endless games to use the rest of our half dozen wooden eggs, and they fit nicely with the wooden toys and blocks.

Good Eggs! We've been on the hunt for a set of eggs to add to our play food, and this set of Wooden Good Eggs is just perfect! The wooden eggs look just like the brown eggs you can find in the grocery store, and are the same size and weight of real eggs. The half dozen comes packaged in a real egg carton, stamped with "Camden Rose Farms." Your child will have a blast gathering these eggs, boiling up hard-boiled eggs, and serving them up! Good Eggs are made of birch and their carton is made of recycled cardboard. Comes packaged in red mesh bag with tag. Birch is a bit lighter than pictured. Just use a bit of beeswax to darker or polish up.
