Once I realized it wasn't worth it, I finished putting it together and set it all up. Turns out it looks pretty decent, even better than I thought.
Putting it together was very straight-foward and took about 2 hours by myself.
Anyway, if you're looking for inexpensive, faux wood, Ikea quality furniture, this one is not bad. It looks very nice though.

The Logik collection offers you this fashionably functional twin 39-inch mates bed with its chocolate finish. The 2 under-bed storage drawers provide plenty of space for clothes, blankets and toys. It features metal handles with an antique pewter finish which are adding character and value to the furniture. The bed is reversible, therefore drawers can be put on either side of the bed. This bed fits twin size mattress and box spring is not required. Interior drawer dimensions : 35-inch wide by 7-3/4-inch front to back. Can be used with the Logik twin 39-inch bookcase headboard to form a more complete ensemble. Also available in sunny pine and in pure white finishes. It is made of recycled CARB compliant particle panels. The glides are made of polymer and include dampers and catches, creating a secure environment for little ones. It has to be assembled by two adults. Measures 77-inch wide by 43-inch deep by 14-inch high. It is delivered in one box measuring 89-inch by 23-1/4-inch by 7-1/2-inch and weights 112-pound.
